I have been using memory techniques for years, but I have been using the same techniques for all of those years. Memory palace, story method, major system, peg system, songs, Russian doll, palace matrix, memory systems for competitions, and so on.
The only new techniques would be with memory systems like having a new card or number system. The issue is that most people would never use or want to create these systems due to how much time and effort they take to make.
Unless I am not in the loop on new memory techniques being created, I haven’t seen or heard of anything new. It would be great to know if there are any new ones!
